Services for Brain Injury Tree #664

Individuals in our Cognitive Rehabilitation Day and Independent Living Skills Programs decorated the tree.

We chose the theme Independent. The ornaments represented their skills in being independent and being able to accomplish their personal goals. Ornaments were made with different colored paint and tissue paper, garland written in different languages that represent all the languages spoken by staff, volunteers and clients. Our decorations are dedicated to our clients in the facility, dedicated donors and Board of Directors.

Services for Brain Injury provides services for individuals with Brain Injury, either Traumatic or Acquired. We have different programs and services: Cognitive Rehabilitation Day Program, Work-Readiness Program, Employment Services, Ticket-to-Work, Job Development, Independent Living Skills, and Occupational Therapy.

Decorating a tree at Christmas in the Park has been a tradition for SBI for many years now. Carmela, Program Instructor, takes all the clients on a field trip to visit SBI's tree and the clients take pictures in front of their tree.
