Children's Discovery Musuem of San Jose Tree #309

It was a cold Saturday morning when Discovery Youth was preparing to decorate our first Christmas in the Park tree. While some were decorating paper dolls that looked like them with fabric, paper, and pictures of our heads, others were painting colorful pine cones.

We were glad to be decorating a tree because not only was it our first time, but it would be fun to show our friends our faces on the tree that we got to decorate.

The next Saturday a few of us walked down to Christmas in the Park to put our beautiful decorations up on our tree. We started out by stringing lights up and then proceeded to put up our paper dolls and the glittery pine cones. Everyone who went agreed that it was one of their favorite memories at Discovery Youth!

Anyone who would like to donate to the Children's Discovery Museum can donate to the museum or if they have kids entering seventh, eighth, ninth, or tenth grades, can sign up for Summer of Service.
