San Jose School of Highland Dancing (Tree #139)

Dancers and their families came out early in the morning to help decorate the tree. We made the ornaments together several weeks before.

It is a school event and we wanted to support Christmas in the Park. Dancers from the SJSHD have been performing at Christmas in the Park since the 1980s. The tree decorating and performance are highlights for our dancers and we look forward to continuing these events for years to come.

This is the third year we have decorated a tree and our second Elf tree.

We operate with the help of our dance families and the broader Scottish community. We provide a studio where certified teachers instruct dancers in this age-old art. Many of our dancers compete at local and regional championships. Volunteers can contact us through our website.
